Phrase Frenzy Privacy Policy

Brain Rice Games, LLC provides Phrase Frenzy. This policy covers the Android version of Phrase Frenzy, including optional purchases and support for the app.

Information stored on your device

Phrase Frenzy stores team names, game settings, scores and game progress, phrase history, selected packs, purchase entitlement status, and review-prompt counters in the app’s private storage. This information supports gameplay, customization, resuming a game, and access to purchased content. Core gameplay works offline. The app does not send this gameplay information to a Brain Rice Games server, and the Android app does not include advertising or analytics SDKs.

Android may back up app settings or transfer them to another device according to your device and Google account settings. These backup services are provided by Google or your device provider.

Google Play purchases and reviews

Optional purchases and purchase restoration use Google Play Billing. Google processes payments; Phrase Frenzy does not receive your payment-card details. The app receives purchase status and purchase tokens to confirm and acknowledge purchases, and stores which content is unlocked. Google maintains transaction records under its own policies.

The app may invite you to leave an optional rating or review through Google Play. Google processes information you submit in that interface. See Google’s privacy policy for its handling of payment, account, backup, and review information.

Support and contact

If you email us or use our website’s contact form, we receive the contact information and message you choose to provide so we can respond. Please avoid including unnecessary sensitive information. The contact form is hosted by Squarespace; its handling of website information is described in Squarespace’s privacy policy.

Sharing, retention, and deletion

We do not sell your personal information. Google Play and website/support providers process information needed to provide their services. We may also disclose information when required by law.

Local game information remains until you clear the app’s storage or uninstall it, subject to your backup settings. You can manage backup copies through your device or Google account. Clearing app data does not remove Google’s purchase records. Eligible purchases can be restored using the purchasing Google account.

We retain support correspondence as needed to handle your request and meet applicable recordkeeping requirements. You can request deletion of correspondence by contacting us. Google and Squarespace control retention of information they process under their respective policies.

Security and children

The app uses Android’s private app storage for local game information and Google Play for purchase processing. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. The app does not require a Brain Rice Games account or ask players to submit personal information during gameplay. If a child has sent us personal information through support, a parent or guardian can contact us to request deletion.

Changes to this policy

We will post any updates on this page and revise the effective date above.
